FILGEO provided a team of geodetic engineers and surveyors deployed for the construction of Calumpang Bridge in Batangas. The bridge is designed to decongest traffic in Batangas City. This bridge is said to be the “first and only kind in the Philippines” as it is composed of segmental box girders – an upgrade from the usual type of girders used in the country. The scope of work included topographic survey (pre-construction), establishment of horizontal and vertical controls, as-built survey, and various survey support that the contractor required.
